We offer many services using various welding and fabrications processes, including:

SAW / Submerged Arc Welding

Submerged Arc Welding is the ideal process for thick plate fabrications, cladding and overlaying.  Its high deposition rate and deep penetration makes it a fast and efficient process.


GMAW / MIG Welding

Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), also known as MIG welding, is the most common industrial welding process. Its high speed makes it an appealing process, easily adaptable to automated and semi-automated welding systems.


GTAW / TIG Welding

Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), also known as TIG welding, is commonly used where weld integrity is critical. Using the GTAW process, we are capable of producing high quality welds in a wide variety of metals and alloys. 


FCAW / Flux Core Welding

Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), is a high deposition rate process that is widely used at Merrill Fabricators.  Using this process, we can weld manually, automatic or semi-automatically on large scale weldments.  


SMAW / STICK Welding

Commonly known as stick welding, shielded metal arc welding is a manual process that is very versatile. This process can be used with many electrode types and sizes, in all positions and in a wide variety of materials, which makes it one of the most versatile processes in the industry.


As specifications require, each of the above welding and fabrications processes can be performed manually or robotically. With our years of experience, we frequently create custom fixtures to ensure the highest accuracy of your weld. Our weldments are so precise; our fixtures often eliminate the need for machining operations.
